PhD seminar
A highlight of this summer's PhD seminar was a visit to RDK-8, one of the world’s most efficient coal-fired power plants.

This summer, PhD students from PSI-LEA, ETH Zürich’s Chair for Energy Systems Analysis, and Ruhr University Bochum’s Chair of Energy Systems and Energy Economics gathered in Rastatt, Germany, for a collaborative seminar.

Key highlights included insightful research presentations; a visit to RDK-8, one of the world’s most efficient coal-fired power plants; networking and bonding over meals and social activities; relaxing poolside during breaks; and stimulating discussions about energy systems.

A memorable experience for all, with plans to reunite next year!
