ETH-ESA Chair at Smart Energy Systems conference
The Chair for Energy Systems Analysis at ETH Zürich made a notable impact at the Smart Energy Systems International Conference (SESAAU 2024) in Aalborg, Denmark.
At the Smart Energy Systems International Conference (SESAAU 2024) in Aalborg, Denmark, researchers from ETH-ESA presented cutting-edge solutions across three sessions:
- Ruihong Chen discussed using machine learning for visual impact assessments of wind projects in Europe.
- Julian Hermann introduced a model for heat pump efficiency in energy system optimization.
- Alena Lohrmann proposed a novel approach to factor water usage into levelized cost estimates in power generation.
Participants also toured a Power-to-X plant and a carbon capture-enabled cement factory. We extend gratitude to the organizers for an outstanding event!
