We combine quantitative approaches from engineering and economics with qualitative approaches such as stakeholder engagement processes to explore the integration of Low Carbon Technologies into decentralized energy systems.

Current research topics include resource assessment methods for Low Carbon Technologies, decentralised low-carbon energy systems, socioeconomic dimensions of energy demand, and energy infrastructure, sector coupling and energy system integration.
